Best Notebook for Pharmacology Notes
Pharmacology is a structure problem. Here's the drug-table template that survives revision.

Short answer
The best notebook for pharmacology notes supports a repeated drug table: class → mechanism → uses → adverse effects → examples. A4 pages give the table room; 100 GSM paper survives heavy highlighting of drug names.
Pharmacology breaks students not because it's hard, but because it's repetitive in the wrong way — every drug chapter is the same five questions asked a hundred times. Fix the structure once and the subject becomes mechanical.
The drug table that works
For every drug class, write the same row: class → mechanism of action → uses → adverse effects → examples. Same order, every time. When your notes repeat a structure, your recall does too — which is exactly what the Pharmacology Notebook templates are built around.
Should pharmacology notes be drug-wise or system-wise?
System-wise chapters, drug-wise tables inside them. The syllabus and exams are organised by system (autonomics, CNS, CVS...), but within a chapter the drug table is the unit of revision.
Small things that pay off
- Highlight drug names in one colour only — you should be able to scan a page for them
- Reserve the margin for doses and contraindications
- Add a 'given in exam' tick each time a drug appears in a paper — patterns emerge fast
